Received http request from Spotify

Hello Spotify,

I was using Spotify while doing some web developer works, so I start a Node.js server on localhost:8080 and I received some HTTP request by Spotify:

[OPTIONS] /verifications?market=from_token

Attached the log and prettified log content.

This won't cause any problem but interrupt my work, I just want to clarify:

[1] What is this request's intention?

[2] Can I turn this off?
