Recently Played artists not updating on Homepage

My Question or Issue

The recently played artists on my homepage never update. When I click the "Recently Played" under "Your Library"  they update their but the ones on the Homepage are stuck. I have tried toggling the settings in preferences, logging out/in and doing a full reinstall including clearing caches etc.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Try using the Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline Devices from your Spotify's account page as well 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

Hi Loxer, 

I have tried signing out from everywhere and doing a clean install but the issue is still happening. The same issue happens on my work macbook, and my personal macbook. Both are on the same operating system macOS Catalina (10.15.3 (19D76)). 

I am using Spotify version 1.1.26.501.gbe11e53b
