Remove explicit content - using webplayer

Remove explicit content - using webplayer

Hi all

I am using webplayer and I would like to disable explicit content. I cannot find the setting.

I am following the steps described  here https://support.spotify.com/uk/using_spotify/system_settings/explicit-content/

Is there a way to remove explicit content without installing Spotify app? I don't have permissions to install apps; I can only use the browser.

Many thanks

Hey there @Pippo222

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

The option to filter explicit content isn't currently available within the Spotify web player.

However, as this feature serves as an account setting, we'd suggest you open the Spotify app on either a mobile device or a PC. Then disable the explicit content as described here. When you open the web player later, the disabled content filter will be applied to your account.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks Ivan for clarifying that it is not possible to remove explicit content without installing the app;
