Reproducible Bug: Left channel becomes muffled

Playing the first 10 seconds of "Summer in the City" (https://open.spotify.com/track/7AzFID6u1b3zIWbd9pb8Dk?si=muVMoDCwSLaMvjDjzd_Y7g) in the Mac desktop app reproducibly muffles the left channel. I've reproduced this consistently a dozen or so times in a row doing the following:

1. Close Spotify

2. Open Spotify

3. Play a few seconds of "Monday, Monday" (https://open.spotify.com/track/3EFb1qDgIqf9MegIryKtDj?si=s5hNUw3VSECDaplEAcB_1Q) to confirm channel is unmuffled

4. Play "Summer in th City" for 10 seconds, left channel is now muffled

5. Play a few seconds of "Monday, Monday" and the channel is still muffled

OS: Mac 10.13.3

Previously, Spotify had been the sole app affected, but it appears that others are, too. I suspect that it's not a Spotify issue, but a Mac issue.

I have the same bug. It happens only in Spotify, and I tested it in an Android device (Asus Zenfone 2 laser) and an apple device (iPhone 7).

Different players in the same devices work well.

It is not a problem with headphones, since I tested with three different ones.

It sounds like there is a noise gate in the left channel. The quieter sounds get sort of interrupted.
