Search Not Working

Search stops working after about 2 minutes in desktop (Mac) version. When it stops, nothing about search loads, there's just the spinning ring. The search bar doesn't auto-populate either. Nothing happens. Everything else works fine. Restart Spotify, search works again for a few minutes, and again stops. Rinse & Repeat.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Restarted computer. This always happens. Has been for several weeks.

Yeah. Me too. Exactly the same. The search function has not been fixed through several Mac versions. It's a fundamental error and it's making me think about paying twice as much for Tidal instead.

Spotify – fix the damned thing!

In the unlikely event that anyone's listening, my Mac OS version is 10.11.16 and Spotify version is 1.0.65.320.gac7a8e02.
