My Question or Issue
Hello. I've had Spotify Premium for about 3-4 weeks now, so I hope you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have successfully linked Spotify to my local files, however Spotify will not play songs purchased from the iTunes store. Songs purchased from Amazon or BandCamp play fine, however all of my iTunes store purchases are greyed out and will not play.
The support page on Local Files recommends installing QuickTime (clicking the relevant link actually shows that this advice is only for Windows and that the advice is outdated as of Windows 8). As I am on a Mac, QuickTime is definitely installed and all of the songs purchased from the iTunes store play in QuickTime. Help!
Why won't my iTunes store purchases play in Spotify? To be clear, I am not asking about playing a local file on my SmartPhone. This question is in reference to Spotify Desktop.
