Songs have not been playing for me for the past 3 days. The play button is even blacked out. This problem is happening both on my personal Chromebook and on my work computer. I have tried restarting both and logging out and back in, but this has not fixed the problem. I do not have an ad blocker running.
Hey,
Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble!
We know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try a quick reinstall? Just follow the steps here.
If you're still having trouble, could you let us know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system that you're running?
Also, do you get any error messages when this happens?
We'll see what we can suggest!
Thanks,
/M
Thanks for the info.
Are you on a home or office network? Does the issue happen if you use a different browser with your work computer?
You can also try having a friend log into their account to see if the issue persists for them while using your computers.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks for getting back to us.
No worries. You don't need their log in info. You just need to ask them to log into their account on your devices to see if the issue persists for them.
If it doesn't persist when using a different account, the issue might be account related.
Be sure to keep us posted on the results.
No worries.
In that case you can create a new account here. Once the account is made, test it out on your devices to see if the issue is in fact account related.
If the issue persists, it might be your device. If that's the case, we suggest you try using Spotify on a different device to see if the same thing happens. You can try testing it out on a friend's phone or computer.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
