Songs that are available on my phone are 'unavailable' on my mac

My Question or Issue

 For some reason, whilst all songs are available on my phone, when i play through my mac a load of songs that i usually listen to refuse to play and come up with a blue banner up the top saying 'this track is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it'

I have tried to use spotify connect from my phone to get these songs to play but it still doesnt work.

any ideas? Cheers.
