Spotify 0.6.6.10 on iMac G4 finally gave in

I earlier posted happy chimes about an old Spotify client that still ran Premium perfectly on an iMac G4:  https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Spotify-app-for-PowerPC-still-works-January-2018/m-p/43...

I can now report in October 2018 something happened likely on the server back end and this old hero app can no longer go online.  Kind of sad; the vintage G4 was very cool as a Spotify jukebox, where I used a USB to optical adapter to connect to  a vintage stereo setup.  

This is on OSX Leopard (10.5.8) where the app indicates version "0.6.6.10.gdb39032a".

So maybe I have to rebuild the iMac G4 using som Intel NUC or similar hw.  The complexity will be is in the VLDS video adaption,
I have browsed those very long project forums where they modernize G4 internals.

If anyone else can conclude their powerpc Mac still runs a Spotify client I am happy to know.

Due to Spotify versions older than 1.1.59 no longer working, Spotify on PPC is no longer feasible in 2023.
