Spotify Desktop App Never Works Unless I Restart It.

This app never works on my computer when I want it to play. I have to constantly restart it every time to play music after taking a break from listening for several hours or a day. I get an error message or I click on the music to play and nothing happens until I relaunch the app. Update the this thing. So I don't have to restart it . This has been going on for years.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one. 

On another note, would you mind sending us a screenshot of the error message you're getting? Make sure not to send any private info. 

Lastly, sending us the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device would come in handy.
