My Question or Issue

I have the Spotify desktop app on my laptop. Each time I have the app running and I put my computer to sleep, when I return my computer shows that it was restarted and I get an apple error that says "Your computer restarted because of a problem". The error message shows that it was a internal kernal panic. I've been able to isolate this problem to Spotify by closing all other applications and having only that open. I receive this error message almost every day.

Could you try a quick clean reinstall of the app? Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify?

 

I'd also recommend upgrading to macOS Monterey 12.4

I'll see what I can suggest next!
