Spotify Mutes when whe I pause Youtube.

My Question or Issue

I sometimes play spotify quietly in the background when i'm watching a youtube video, and lately when I pause a youtube video, the song playing on spotify mutes itself. It says the volume is on, shows the progress bar moving, but there is no sound.  Sometimes the sound will come back in a few seconds, sometimes it doesn't and I need to pause and then unpause the song in order for the volume to come back.

Please help!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.
