Spotify Not Playing Songs. 'Spotify can't play this right now'.

My Question or Issue

When trying to play certain songs I have recieved a message saying "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

The same songs work fine on my mobile device but just will not play on my Mac. I recently deleted all songs in my iTunes library right around the time when this started happening. Maybe that could be linked to the issue. All those files are still in my trashcan, however i do not have any local files connected to my spotify.
