My Question or Issue

Suddenly, the desktop app does not work anymore: the screen is completely black. I deleted the app and the caches files folders (and everything related to the app), then I tried to download again the app and it didn't work. I also restarted the system and tried a different Wi-Fi connection, but the result is still the same. 

I tried to use Spotify web, but it doesn't work too, because it doesn't play the music and it doesn't even open the page sometimes. What can I do to make the app work again? It did so well!

Great troubleshooting steps so far. Now we recommend following the instructions from this Spotify Answer to check your hosts file. 

 

It's also a good idea to turn off your VPN if you're using one.
 

In case your issue persists, we'll need to know if you have trouble with opening our web site.

I tried to do what you suggested me, but unfortunately nothing changed. 

I have some troubles opening the Spotify website or the web player, but it depends because sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. 

I tried several times in these days, but nothing really changed.

On the other hand, the iPhone app is fine.
