Spotify cuts off all other sounds with JBL headphone

Hi everyone,

When I listen to spotify on my Macbook through my JBL Everest Elite 750NC it seems that spotify blocks all other sounds. If I disconnect my headphones and reconnect I can listen to other sounds again. Starting up spotify and playing a song blocks all sounds from other applications again.

I've been dealing with this for a while now. Can't seem to find a solution for Macbook. It only does this on these headphones (as far as I know). Since I'm often multi-tasking on my macbook it's very unhandy to have this problem.. Would be great if someone knows the answer!

Did you ever figure this out? I am facing the same problems. Didn't have this issue with my beats solo 3.
