Spotify forces the use of the DISCRETE GPU on MBP

Spotify 1.0.77.338.g758ebd78 on MacOS 10.13.4 forces the discrete GPU to be used and drains the battery. This is a long standing BUG that needs to be addressed!

Have a look at version 1.0.80 🙂

There, have a look in the Spotify menu in the macOS menu bar.

There you will now find the option to deactivate the hardware acceleration...

From now on, discrete GPU will not be triggered by Spotify.
