Spotify keeps suggesting an artist that i hate

I'm trying to find a way to block an artist that I hate. When my playlist is done, I like that spotify keeps suggestings songs that suit the playlist. Only thing is that it keeps on suggesting an artist that I hate, and even though I keep on clicking on the thumbs down button, it still keeps on playing songs of the artist. I hate it and it's very frustrating. Ive been clicking more than an half a year on the thumbs down button when I hear songs from the artist. Please is there something directer that I can do so that this artist doesn't get to be played AT ALL?

Unfortunately, it looks like they will not be adding the option to block certain artists and the only remaining solution is to keep disliking tracks by that artist.
