Massive memory leak on Spotify. It has done this a few times.

It looks like this is an issue that the developers are aware of, more information can be found here. Go ahead and vote for that topic so the developers know that you're experiencing the issue too. Make sure to leave a comment with the relevant information so they can resolve it efficiently! 

I believe they have pushed an update to the beta version that addresses the issue, so it should reflect on the public release very soon!

Version 1.0.96.181 was just released and it should fix this memory leak issue. If you are still having trouble, please post your experience.

It will be rolling out, but you should be able to get it by downloading and installing from the Spotify website.
