Spotify not responding after OS sleep

This problem remains from beggining of my Spotify usage (2-3 years).

When i close MacBook lid and open it after some time Spotify is freezed. I have to Force Quit Spotify and reopen it. Now i have new Macbook Pro 2017 and this problem exists so reinstall or wipe Spotify directory data would not help.

I always start Spotify when starting work and press Cmd+Q before end (twice a day).

I thought i was coused by ads but i have Premium.

I have had this same issue for some time now, almost a year I would say. I am constantly needing to quit and restart Spotify if I am not playing any song and my MacBook falls into sleep mode. Spotify gets unresponsive although it does not fully freeze or crash. Playing the current song is not possible anymore and the different sections (Songs, Albums, Artists, etc.) do not appear. Even quiting does not seem to work properly, as I need to ’Force Quit’ Spotify after issuing the quit command.

I am running my MacBook on OS X 10.11.6 and Spotify is version 1.0.73.345.g6c9971ef.
