Spotify opens but than stays blank

Hello Community,

I have a long lasting problem with the Spotify-App on my MacBook. When I open the app, it stays blank and it seems to crash somehow, because I can't acces any part of the app including the preferences. Additionally, the app needs a hughe amount of RAM and the cpu fan is starting after a few seconds. I tried everything from reinstaling to deleting the cache and application support, but nothing seems to work. Maybe someone of you has a suggestion.
