Spotify opens new tabs in safari automatically (3599.spotilocal.com)

I have an annoying problem with my spotify. It automatically opens three (always three) tabs with some delay in between each tab. These tabs have URLs on the domain 3599.spotilocal.com and looks like this:

On the webpage displayed in says "Not found" and nothing else

It mentions Facebook and I googled spotilocal and it is apparently some alias for 127.0.0.1 (localhost) that Spotify uses in order to use TLS/SSL. 

In short these tabs are really annoying since they take focus and I have to close them all the time. How do I get rid of them? I feel like someone has a bug here, might be facebook or spotify. This only happens on my Macbook Air and never on my windows desktop computer. It seems to happen every time I wake the computer from sleep, but also at random times in the day.

Are you using on your windows pc also Safari and it's the same Safari version?

On the Mac: could you please try if this bug also happens on another browser, not Safari?

I think it opens in Safari since it is the default browser on my Mac. No, I dont use Safari on my Windoes computer, only Chrome. It has never happened with Chrome on my Mac but I dont use it that often. It happens at quite random times so it's hard to test. It seems like it doens't happen every time it wakes up since it didnt happen when I woke it up just now.

EDIT: Now it happened again, but this time it used 672.spotilocal.com. What is going on?? Opened in Safari with a couple seconds of delay between each tab.

I can confirm that I'm having the same issue. Chrome is my default browser, and that's where it opens for me.

Here's one of the url's that gets opened multiple times:

I'm using the latest version of OSX Yosemite.

It is a bug in the Mac app Chatty that is the root of this. I first thought it was Spotify since it used their URL but it turned out to be Chatty. The developer of Chatty confirmed this and said it will be patched in the next update as a response to my bug report.

That makes sense. I've only used Chatty for a couple of weeks, and I can't remember encountering the issue before that. Thanks!
