I've got the same problem. Already since 5 days.

Same here... even Safari has security issues with the spotify site a the moment...

Me too!!

Offline mode is failing to work properly, at least on my Mac.

exact same here.

Same issue. I've tried several times over several downloaders, and I always get the same result.

1. Completely uninstalled spotify by removing application in /Applications, and removed ~/Library/Caches/com.spotify.Client as well as ~/Library/Application Support/Spotify

2. Restarted computer.

3. Downloaded .zip file from https://www.spotify.com/us/download/mac/ and ran installer.

Installer "downloads" spotify, and the icon bounces in the tray a bit, then crashes.  The Install Spotify program reports "An error occured while trying to install Spotify."  Mac's report option gives me these details from the console:

If spotify is no longer supporting 10.5, then please let us know.  Otherwise, please address this issue, or let us know where an older version of spotify may be found!

Hey guys 🙂

As you might have guessed, Spotify are no longer supporting Mac OS X 10.5.x

I have gathered all of the information, as well as how to get a working client again in this post.

Yep, that worked.  I'm glad there are people like you that figured out where the old versions are and how to disable the auto-update.

The dev team might want to make their downloads check the Mac version before installing in the future.

brilliant, thanks alot!
