Spotify stops almost every track after 3 minutes, on iPhone and MacBook

Really annoying problem listening to saved albums whether downloaded or not on both iphone and MacBook, the tracks cut off at 3:00. You can see in the screen shot the track is  4:56 but I will only get to hear 2:59 (usually 3:00). I chucked and then reinstalled Spotify but no difference.

Any ideas?

Try reinstalling again, but this time clear all the remaining files by uninstalling with the AppCleaner app. That will give you a true clean slate when installing Spotify again. If the issue persists then try downgrading the app and check if you still have the same problems.
