My Question or Issue
I'm having a consistent issue where I use Spotify (latest version) on my iMac all day long without issues. At the end of the day, I put my iMac to sleep. Then the next morning when I go to resume listening to music, the only thing that will play is the current album/playlist that I paused the night before.
When I navigate to a new playlist/album the next day, no music will play without restarting Spotify.
To try and resolve this on my own, I've searched a number of existing support articles and have fully uninstalled and re-installed the app. I have reviewed my private hosts file. And, I've scoured all of my settings.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any remedies to not have to restart Spotify every day?
Het there @ebblue,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.
Great troubleshooting so far, we can add a few more steps to make sure we've covered all bases.
Would you mind checking if the OS of your PC has any pending updates?
On another note, we suggest that you try restarting your router and check if that makes the difference.
Cheers - keep us posted!
