Spotify won't play on desktop

Spotify won't play on desktop

I am having difficulty with Spotify playing on my Mac.  My software is up to date, I am not in offline mode and checked to make sure my firewall is not blocking the application.  We have the Duo plan.  No issues with any other devices, but I can't even toggle between my iPad and desktop.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.

If you're still having trouble, let me know what device this happens on, as well as the current software version.
