Spotify won't resume after pause with bluetooth headphones

I'm unable to resume after i pause the music for a few minutes with my headphones over bluetooth.

I cannot believe that this still hasn't been addressed... I've been having this issue as long as I've been using Spotify..  After having a song paused for more than 10 min it refuses to resume via BT, I have to skip to next song
