Spotlight Indexing fails from time to time. Needs forced reindex to restart

Spotlight Indexing fails from time to time. Needs forced reindex to restart

Brief description of the issue:

 

After some time, even one launch sometimes, it's not possible to find Spotify.app in spotlight anymore. 

 

The Fix is to manually go to Spotlight Privacy options, add Spotify.app and remove it, to force the reindex of that folder.

 

Spotify is the only app exhibit this behaviour so I think it is a bug in the client.

Free

 

The app version of Spotify you’re using:

1.1.14.475.g566c8beb

Could you try to reinstall the app. Just follow these steps.

I have had this problem on my current mac and the previous one. There are one or two other apps that have shown similar behaviour but this is the only one I have at the moment.
This causes so much suffering. Ince a year I search the internet for a solution thinking that surely there has to be a more permanent fix than reindexing Spotify this often.

I know adding Spotify to the doc and using the trackpad would work, but I'm more of a keyboard person.
