Starting a new Spotify song breaks Sidecar connection

My Question or Issue

While using my iPad as an external display, the screen freezes whenever a new song starts. This only occurs when Spotify is on the iPad and seems to only be a Spotify issue as no other apps have this behavior. 

It's no big deal to just use Spotify on my laptop screen but its such a weird issue, I thought I'd report and see if there it was a Mac issue or Spotify one as it was working a couple weeks ago.
