Strange and jarring static at end of song

On the Spotify-currated playlist 'Concentration Maximum' there is a song called 'The Last Hour of Loneliness.' It's a fine song, but at the end of it (03:16) there's an extremely off-putting (and, frankly, concentration-disrupting) screech of noise. Can this somehow be edited out? If not, I think the song should be removed from the playlist.
