I suggest you try a clean reinstall and see if this helps, This usually fixes most problems 🙂
Note: This will remove any saved offline tracks and cache 🙂

Could you check for me if your Airport express has the latest Firmware?
Also, are you using the latest Spotify app on your iPhone?
Hi Jean, I think it's using 7.6.4 - that's what it says in the Aiport Utility at any rate. It has workied in the past with Spotify although I just tried it this morning with iTunes and that's not working either. Still working perfectly with the MacBook.
