Using Spotify
Listen Everywhere
On Mac OS X, Spotify 0.9.8.296.g91f68827, the Now Playing artwork sometimes shows at @1x quality, even when @2x quality is available on Retina Displays. This is most easily visually seen by bringing up an album and comparing its artwork to the Now Playing artwork.

I can't always re-create the issue, but I can always solve it by toggling Large Playing Artwork off then On:
