Try to Download app on Mac and never finishes downloading

premium account - Australia - MacBook pro

so basically spotify told me to re download the app as my version was 'old' and so i tried (like 10 times) and everytime i try to download it, it almost finishes downloading and then just stops right at the end and doesn't finish downloading? anyone know how to fix this cause i cannot deal with using youtube for music on my laptop - i miss spotify

Thanks for reaching out. This sounds a bit odd and we'll do our best to help you out here.

Can you let us know if you've already tried to restart your computer and downloading the app via a different network? With that, we'd also recommend making sure that Spotify is not being blocked by your Firewall or any other anti-virus program.

It's also a good idea to follow all the steps for a clean reinstall to clear any old files that might be causing issues.

If that doesn't do it for you, we'll need to know your OS version and if you're able to use our web player on your computer.
