Unable to complete Premium membership subscription with NUS discount

I am trying to purchase spotify premium through the NUS discount so i get 50% off the subscription. However as I try to purchase it, i enter my NUS card number and then it prompts me to enter my facebook password and then once i do so it redirects me back to the spotify page saying 'This feature is currently unavailable. Please try again later'.

Do you live in the US, UK or Canada? Spotify Student discount is only available in those 3 countries. 

If you live in that country, could you please check if your IP is from that country too?

Yes, I live in the UK...any other solutions? Is there a way to bypass the facebook verification?
