Unable to use Search Bar on Mac OS App

My Question or Issue

On the app when I try and type into the search bar its as though the cursor keeps being clicked back into the main window. I have to click and then type pretty much one character at a time and then repeat. Even more annoying is that heaven forbid you should need to type a space because the spacebar presses play/pause on your music if you aren't quick enough. Buggy! I'm having to use the web player.

Thanks for reaching out about this. 

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one. 

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your device to check if the issue persists with a different account?
