Upgraded to free 3 month premium subscription, now Spotify doesn't work

Upgraded to free 3-month premium subscription, now Spotify doesn't work either on the app or online. says I'm not online but I am connected to the internet and it works fine for everything else but spotify. can someone help, not really making me want to resign after my free trial is up!

Could you let us know if this is happening across devices or only on your PC?

If this only happens on your PC, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.
