Where are the Spotify logs on MacOS? I'd like to be able to see what's going on.

Hey there!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The log messages and activities can be seen in the Console app on your Mac, but not directly in the Spotify app. To do so, just open the Console app on your Mac and type a word or phrase to find log messages/activities that match it.

You can also show log messages from a certain process and search for log messages that don't match a certain criteria. You can check out more info about it on Apple's support site.

Note: keep in mind that you need to be logged in as an administrator to be able to search on the console.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hmmm. The only thing I could find in the console app was a crash diagnostic report. Does Spotify not log anything to the filesystem?
