Why can't I jump to current track?

Why can't I jump to current track?

I have thousands of songs in a single playlist.

If I want to delete a song from the playlist, I have to scroll down all the way to find it.

I thought clicking on the album art directs to the current track,

but it only directs to the playlist the song is in.

I'm using the latest version of spotify on mac.

Is it only me or is everyone else the same?

Hello!

The current version of Spotify removed temporarily the ability to search inside playlists, but this feature will be coming back in a near future update.

Hope this helps! ♫

^^ Brining back search within playlists is already something, but why not also bring back the function of jumping to the current track, as the original poster was asking about? It was such a simple but such a helpful feature...

(not to mention the function to go to a certain track or artist by typing the first few letters of the name...)

Well...
I don't really know why this isn't added but I think it's because the search feature inside playlists can basically do that.

[EDIT] I've re-read my reply and realized that you are right. The search function inside playlists won't let you go to the current song and see other songs near it.
