Why can't my friends see my listening activity?

None of my friends can see my listening activity, even though the toggle to share my listening activity is ON. I have tried restarting both the desktop app as well as the mobile app, and logging out and back in on both.

Thanks for the post.

Make sure that you don't have Private Session switched on when listening to music, as this will hide your activity.

It's also worth checking if there are pending updates for your Spotify apps and let those run.

Note that if you're using a VPN or a school network, some networking ports might be blocked, which would also block your listening activity being shared.
