Why not have internet radio stations on Spotify (like iTunes?)

I'm talking about Internet Radio stations, not iTunes Radio. You can see the stations in iTunes by clicking on the little radio tower icon next to Music, Movies, etc. icons in upper left.

Anyhow, you can listen to broadcast radio stations from all over the world as well as internet only stations. There are even high bit rate stations like Linn which runs Classical, Jazz, and other stations. It is a fun way to discover music you would never normally hear.

I made a playlist of my favorite stations and simply go to that to choose my local or whatever stations. 

Like with iTunes, I wish Spotify would build in an internet radio station "tuner". In the OSX and iOS Spotify apps for sure…

This little bit of extra free radio station music (or talk or whatever - it is the whole planet) is really nice to have. I wish it was also built into Spotify too!
