albums view in grid only now?

Some update seems to have made the All Albums view for an artist now appear in grid format without release dates being available.  This is extremely frustrating—not being able to explore an artists 20-something albums by release date from early to latest.  This is a major downgrade in experience for me.  Is there a setting to get the old Albums view by date back?

Could you tell me what's going on exactly? What's  the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Also, any screenshots would be helpful.
