error code 4 - doesn't recognise internet connection

Takes forever to load

Popup ads keep pausing music

Everytime an ad pops up (as a banner on lower screen) in Spotify, the music pauses. Any suggestions as how to correct this, Spotify is only on my desktop and I have the free version. TYIA.
