Scan a file with a list of songs and add them in my Spotify (no local files)

I really like my friend's songs but he doesn't use Spotify. He exported for me a txt file of all his songs from iTunes. Is there a way my Spotify would scan the file and find the songs for me? I can manage to have an excel file from it if that helps....

Spotify 1.0.65.320 sluggish on MacOS 10.13
