how can I get the album cover shown as a square at the top of your screen

There used to be an option when I was listening to spotify on my macbook, where you had like a button (don't know if it was a button) and your spotify would only show the album cover in a little square and if your mouse came on the square you could skip the song for example. Is that option still there or is it not because I cant find it anymore.
