how to hide speakers in non local WIFIs on MacOS?

Hi, I use Spotify at different places with different speakers.

It's pretty confusing and sometimes annoying when non local speakers are offered in the connect list, especially if they are given the same name and I start music in the remote place.

On my smartphones I can hide the speakers which are not in the local wifi, on MacOS I don't know how to achieve this.

Any idea?

Thanks, Kassi

Hey @Kassiopei.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this 🙂

Currently, it's not possible to forget non-local devices on Connect, however they will disappear once another user connects their account to that device, or if that device becomes disconnected (e.g. if it is rebooted).

If you'd like for the 'forget device' feature to be implemented for desktop, we suggest you create an idea for it in the Community by going here. You can encourage other users to vote for it so that, if it gains enough votes, Spotify will consider implementing it in the future.

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any questions 😉
