Hi,
As many before me I am having this issue mentioned in the subject. I have done everything which was recommended, clean install etc and it still has not fixed the issue, this is on both my MacBookPro and my iMac.
I am getting sick and tired of this, I pay for the highest level of account and this should be something that is fixed your end, not require me to jump through hoops for nothing to work.
Please can you advise me how best to proceed.

This has been escalated to the staff over at Spotify by another superuser. However, most of the time a clean reinstall fixes the issue. I will escalate this topic to the staff for you so they can take a further look at it.
Also, what OSX and Spotify version are you running?

OS X 10.8.4
with Spotify 0.9.1.57.ge7405149
I dont have access to my iMac at the moment so can post the info on that later on this afternoon

Just to confirm, when you did the clean reinstallation you manually removed both?:
~/Library/Caches/com.spotify.Client
~/Library/Application Support/Spotify

In addition to this issue as well, my activity stream does not update anymore
Hi. Just a thought....can you try turning off any firewall/security/proxy briefly to see if this fixes the problem then turn them back on?
