problems with the latest version

I have spotify premium but still enounter some problems. In fact I have a problem with installing the latest version of the app on both Windows and Mac, i tried to uninstall and reinstall the application and in the settings it is in fact the  1.2.9.743.g85d9593d version of spotify, but i don't have lots of functions for example the now playng view one and i have less settings options.

Sounds like you're seeing the redesign of the desktop app, which is part of an ongoing test Spotify's currently running. I'd recommend checking out this thread where you'll find more info on how to navigate the app and can share your feedback on the change.
