saved albums/songs not playing

None of my saved albums or songs will play. All other songs work without a problem. When I click play, there is no sound and no progress shown in the time bar on the bottom, but I can push pause as if it were playing. Additionally, none of my "local files" will play.  I have deleted and then re-installed spotify, still nothing. Pleas help
