My Question or Issue

My mac desktop app doesn't "reload page" when I click on it. I have already tried to delete and reinstall the app on my desktop, but the same thing happens.

Hi there @marianadvieira,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you try clearing any entries containing Spotify from the Host files on your system? You can follow the instructions here to do so. After that, run a clean reinstall of the app, following this Guide exactly.

Let us know if that helped.

Cheers.

I was able to solve my problem by turning "Offline Mode" off on the desktop app on my M1 Mac Air and then the app was able to reload and load correctly.

Hi, I'm currently having the same issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify, and have tried clearing my host file of anything containing "Spotify", but my host file appears empty.

Spotify continues to work on the web player and on my mobile, but this has now been going on for over a week when I try to use it on the Mac download...
