when playing playlist it wont play the next song.

After updating to the latest desktop version:
Spotify for macOS (Apple Silicon)
1.2.4.912.g949d5fd0
macOS Monterey

Playlist no longer play as a playlist, next track is just a random track.
Basically the entire concept of playlist is no longer working.
Please help

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case you can check if you have activated the Shuffle feature. You can read more about this in this article and how to deactivate it.

On another note, it's possible you have some other playlist or songs in the queue ready to start playing. So, we'd recommend you check if there's something on the queue to play next. If yes, you can clear the queue, you first have to locate it by following the steps in this article. Then you can hit the Clear queue button to see if you notice any difference.

Lastly, if none of the above does the trick, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on the queue of the affected device?
