Adding an album into my Albums library will be increase HD space?

My Question or Issue

If I add an album into my library, does it means that the Spotify App will download cache in my HD? Thank for your help on this question.

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here!

If you add an album to Your Library by clicking on the heart icon located under the album title, the item will be added only to the collection in your account, but not physically on the PC.  

However, in case you want to save the album for offline listening, the item will store cache on your hard drive once you've downloaded it. You can check out this help page for more info on storage.
